Tampa Bay Lacrosse Academy

Team Tampa, the premier elite lacrosse program on the west coast of Florida continues to impress. The recent trip to Annapolis, MD in front of over 70 college coaches has been deemed a successful trimuph against some of the top talent in the country. The program remains committed to their mission; in June Team Tampa was the first Florida program to challenge the best of the best in High School lacrosse by attending the King of the Hill recruiting tournament in Philadelphia. They again were the first Florida program to attend the UP Lax tournament.

Turning in a 3-3 record over 2 days, Team Tampa displayed the up and coming talent that is developing in the Western portion of Florida. With 2 of the losses both by one goal and a final game victory in overtime, it is quite clear that the Team Tampa program has arrived!

Our unique style of player development is for those players who are committed to playing college lacrosse at the highest level, attending high intensity practices, and remaining focused on one goal: Learning the game of lacrosse through hard work and fundamentals.

Several players have received contact from some of the most prestigous college lacrosse programs in the country. The Team Tampa Coaches and the Tampa Bay Lacrosse Academy are excited for these players and we remain committed to providing the best instruction to the players in Tampa Bay.

Our Spring Schedule is almost complete as we once again will travel north to take on the best of the best! Remember, Team Tampa is not for everyone. There are players who will try to compete at the College level in Florida and it may not make sense for you to travel to these recruiting based tournaments. For you there is always the Tampa Bay Lacrosse Academy's Wildcats program which offers you the same high level of instruction and a schedule that includes tournaments in the state of Florida.

Either way there is a program within the Tampa Bay Lacrosse Academy for you!
